So I probably will not be advancing in the 
after this round. I knew the deadline for round one was going to fall into some pretty busy times for me especially after the audition extension was announced. But thats okay. My opponent 
did an excellent animatic and you should really go check it out!
I am currently back on the mainland spending Thanksgiving with my family. However, the main reason I have come back is so that I can finally bring my wife and two sons over to Guam. It has been a pretty exhausting process and Ive been dealing with some documentation issues in regards to my newborn, hence my inability to finish my pages.
But, that's life right. Need to focus on my priorities as well as work on balancing my art life with my personal life.
With that said, even with the likely event of my character not advancing in Sanctum, I'd still like to continue with the story I developed for it. I really enjoyed meeting all the people that took part in it and so many people had created such amazing OCs.
Ill ask for permission of course, but I really would like to play out the storyline I created utilizing the world of Sanctum as well as a few of the OC's that were submitted.
I'm not bummed out at all, because this was a great experience and was just what I needed to get out of my art funk that I had settled in for almost a year.
So congrats to everyone that finished on time and a pre-congratulatory salute to my opponent.

Im really excited to be in another OCT. The people I've met so far have been incredible. Probably one of the main reasons I enjoy participating in them is just the interaction between people.

My relationship with DA is similar to someone who lives elsewhere but occasionally likes to take a vacation to a bombed out, war torn wasteland. The people I've met are usually the highlights that draw me back, after a brief hiatus is had, where the worst of DA has managed to fade into far distant memory.
However, each time I return, I'm always assaulted, visually and emotionally by what people consider their... art.
I'm not the greatest artist, or an art critic by any measure, however, I feel like I'm a pretty solid judge of what is good and what isn't.
Also, I'm aware that I am on DA criticizing DA, and that these kinds of journal posts
OCT, anime, and Facebook Stuff
Just finished my last audition page for the #Sanctum-OCT (https://www.deviantart.com/sanctum-oct) OCT with my OC AL.
The whole OCT is shaping up to be pretty amazing. Some talented artists that I met during the Tower Tournament OCT are also participating.
This will be my second actual OCT that Im joining. Ive messed around with the idea for others, but never really committed myself to them.
I do plan on doing some more filler comic stuff for it since there's still a month left for auditions to be complete.
Three weeks ago I went to the Guam anime convention, RECON, and realized, yet again, that Im no where near the anime fan most people are. Im fine with that actually,

How about something like a trade instead?
Even though my duo (Alpha and Rimfire) didn't make it past the auditions (more like I had to drop before the audition submission deadline T-T), if you feature them, I would be happy to feature AL in my own projected idea towards a spectator entry! Don't worry, I'm not expecting Alpha and Rimfire to have their own round if they do get to be featured in your own plans just because I might be doing that for AL! ^^
On my own end of the proposed "trade", I will admit it might be a while though, because I am debating whether or not I want my duo to actually have been in the spotlight or indirectly instrumental to the "canon" ending for Sanctum. For now, I'm leaning towards the latter. That wouldn't necessarily mean that I wouldn't start earlier than the ending though depending on the pacing of the "canon" plot!
Although to be honest, I had immensely thought about the idea for AL to be featured in one of my rounds as part of a plot line for a while now. I have some characters in mind already, but if I do stick with AL in one of said rounds, I will be sure to contact you again for permissions and questions regarding AL!
